Poulet rôti et ses pommes de terre, o nome pode ser complicado, mas o prato não podia ser mais simples. Estamos falando do tradicional Frango assado com batatas, acontece que não são simples batatas, são aquelas batatas que ficam o dia inteiro na parte de baixo do forno recebendo a gordura que pinga do frango enquanto cozinham lentamente.
Pode parecer um prato tosco e ogro, porém estamos falando de uma iguaria tipicamente francesa! É fácil encontrar nos bairros mais residenciais de Paris as chamadas por aqui de “Televisão de cachorro”. A diferença é que invariavelmente o fundo delas estará coberto com as batatas que são servidas como acompanhamento deste típico prato.
Hoje vamos tentar chegar o mais próximo possível do prato vendido em Paris e para isso vamos usar um forno convencional e sobrecoxas de frango no lugar de um frango inteiro.
O segredo aqui é o tempero, o resto fica a cargo de toda a gordura do frango e mais de 2 horas de preparo.
Vamos à receita do Poulet rôti
Ingredients
- 4 sobrecoxas de frango sem pele
- 1 colher de sopa de molho inglês
- 1 envelope de tempero em pó meu segredo Maggi
- 1 colher de café de curry
- 2 batatas médias (cortadas em cubos)
- 2 cenouras cortada em pedaços
- 2 dentes de alho amassados
- Sal a gosto
- Pimenta-do-reino a gosto
Method
Step 1
O frango deve ser temperado na véspera, para isso misture os temperos e coloque-os junto com o frango em um saco plástico. Acrescente 3/4 de xícara de água para fazer a marinhada. Deixe na geladeira até o próximo dia. 
Step 2
Corte os legumes como preferir, os pedaços não podem ser muito grandes para garantir um o cozimento correto e uniforme. 
Step 3
Vamos usar a própria grade do forno para assar as sobrecoxas. 
Step 4
No forno pré-aquecido à 170°c coloque a grade com as sobrecoxas na parte superior e uma forma com os legumes na parte inferior. 
Step 5
Deixe assar entre 50 minutos e 1 hora ou até que a pele do frango fique bem tostada. 
Step 6
Sirva as sobrecoxas acompanhadas dos legumes.
